me went, me saw, me likey!
i think its abt time everyone found out which uni i’ve chosen heheh!
in my previous post i listed the universities i’ve been accepted into.
well… i’ve chosen. and its…………………….
it’s in Michigan!!! and no, it’s not Ann Arbor k :)
Spring Arbor itself is a township of over 7,500 residents (that’s really little) and there are various other townships nearby. sounds like a out of nowhere place right? well yeah, it is actually. not really seeing myself having as much wild fun as i had back when i was in KL. but i’m REALLY looking forward to the travelling i’ll DEFINITELY be doing!
Miss Ng! we’ll meet in L.A. as promised!!
David Lin! try not to drown when we do meet up halfway in the middle of the Great Lakes haha.
this is AMETIKA!!! to find Michigan… its one of the them green ones northeast heh.

see see??? M-I-C-H-I-G-A-N!
red dot’s spring arbor!!
super detailed!
Spring Arbor University was established in 1873 as a seminary of the Free Methodist Church and it later became a high school, followed by a junior college, then a college and finally a university on April 30 2001.
so maybe u could kinda say that this SAU is still kinda young as a university, 8 years niaaaa.
there’s only a 1% rate of asian students in SAU lol. but hey, i’m not complaining, confident in making friends :)
in SAU there’s…
a campus center area
where u can lie down on the nicely trimmed grass for a sun-tan, read books on a warm yet cloudy-cool day and chill :)
which also has a huge-ass clock tower
where u can also get married at lol
library
a spacious sport’s floor
basketball court/gym
athletic team called the COUGARS! meowww~~
they’ve got an all-girl’s team on campus too!
housing halls
apartments
here’s some of the room pics i found on their website:
applied for those kind of rooms ady, hope i’m not too late!
they even have a chapel lol
and yes, it’s a Christian University and chapel services are MANDATORY! hope its fun :/
and this is where momolaw will be studying
no inside pictures of the place :/
other than that, SAU has many annual festivities and and events like…
WINTER FESTIVITIES!
CHRISTIAN BAND CONCERTS (not just any christian bands, they’re bands who’ve gone international already wooot!)
FOCUS SERIES! (class cancelled, workshops/seminars held with invited key Christian speakers)
there’s more programs up but i’m waiting to head over there and find out :)
i get a good feel whenever i think abt this uni and i really hope with what God has in planned for me, that i may grow further in my education, social maturity, relationship affirmation, as well as my spiritual maturity.
the university itself also emphasizes on your individual spiritual growth thru chapel services and their CORE program (developed specifically into the curriculum to produce lifelong growth personally and spiritually)
and yes, it snows!
Average high: 28.3 Celsius
Average low: –9.4 Celsius
Lowest i’ve heard so far: –24 Celsius (lol)
getting my visa stuff done now and planning to leave in August heheh. better grab me quick before i leave! and pls pls pls! i NEED to get out of the house!
