Yesterday, it was Charlene's turn to have a farewell dinner. i think it was all planned out by Ben-ji, GOOD JOB, BRO!
so, i head tover to Little Taiwan (5 mins from my apartment) at the appointed time see. and when i reached there, turns out that i was the earliest! even have time to go to the nearby ATM machine as well as take a pic of the place wei!

she said she'd bring it back to Miri if she could, but she's not allowed to bring it into the passanger section of air asia.

PLUS, according to our dear vertically over-sized Dr. Vinod, Patches will be petrified and freezed to death if left in a cage in the cargo section of a plane cause it's FRIGGIN COLD THERE! i'm just wondering how'd Dr. Vinod know that lol!

Yesterday, Pastor Bruce Monk from the Equipper's Church, London came over to Acts Church as an invited speaker! he preached abt the IMMENSE love that God has for us as well as God being the gardener of our soul! it was GREAT and i actually felt spiritually refreshed after listening to his sermon. but SOME OF US, were doing this at the back rows...

here's the story. around 2 years ago + 2 months ago in Nov/Dec of 2005 (according to Ann la nih. me memory very fuzzy :] THANKS ANN!), i attended the Planetshakers Conference 04' which was held at Sutera Harbor, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. AND IT WAS GREAT! anyway, there was this rule that said "NO PICTURES/CAMERAS ALLOWED!"

but me, being the one who's too hyped abt seeing planetshakers for the 1st time uhh... didn't care? ahahaha!

so, i was trying to take this picture see and it took some time just to take a pic cause there were so many people around me, pushing to get closer as well as jumping to the loud music. suddenly there was a tap on my shoulder.

i turned around and saw and SUPER short, but REALLY good-looking gal with an 'usher' nametag. she said, "sorry, strictly no pictures, please"

i was... younger then... and... yeah... i went up to her after the conference for the day, did some small talk, got her email and number and we stayed in touch till now and...

YEAH, THAT'S the story of how i met Jo Ann! HAHAH! kind weird now, isn't it? HAHAH!

hahahahahahahahahahahahah! PRAISE GOD for this! cause a few days ago, i was wondering abt how Jo Ann is, since we haven't kept in touch for a few months already! she's doing her interview at IMU btw.

it was AWESOME meeting up with her (more like i had to run down to the lobby to meet her lol) and she DID grew taller! by... an inch in these few years? or was it the high heels? hmmmm... :]

we talked for a while and sat-in during Pastor Bruce's sermon during evening service!

but after that she had to leave real quick to meet up with her parents for dinner. LIKE THAT LA! LEAVE UR LONG-TIME-NO-SEE FRIENDS LA!

and then it was time for the U Campus Movement Lunch and a special in-house dinner!

I spent approx 12 hours that day, in church. went home REAL tired but REAL HAPPY! almost got sick but the day was TOTALLY WORTH IT! i mean, i got to sing my heart out to God, listen to Pastor Bruce's awesome sermons, serve at the MTG (message-to-go) booth, meet up with a precious old-friend, have fun at the Launch, got a FREE dinner, and have so much fun with my friends there at church! what more can i ask for? i was content!

Last Saturday, was Calvin’s farewell party! I found it weird that he’d host a farewell party this early he wasn’t gonna leave us for Aussie (THE BACKSTABBER! GO AUSSIE LAH!) till after cny, but then only did I know that he wanted to host one before we all start leaving one by one back to our hometowns and miss his farewell lol.

It was held at he condo his uncle lived, TT-something-condo which was somewhere in Damansara.

The security there is so friggin tight and u need security key cards to excess the doors to the lifts, the lifts itself, as well as the units itself. And there’s only TWO key cards per unit!

Anyways, those of us who followed Calvin's car as well as tailed him from behind got there REAL early. some of us got bored and started taking pics!
