konsert tukar kaki

me went, me saw, me likey!
-
As most of you in Selangor know, Switchfoot concert was on last Saturday and a bunch of us campus students got our tickets and decided to go together! Whee!
-
So we all decided to head over to Lucas’ house, hang a bit and then take the lrt to KLCC as we know that there’s gonna be a heck of a jam getting in and out of there if we took the car.
-
Unfortunately for us, as we started walking, it friggin rained…
-
-
-
Aidan did a great job noticing this sign seconds after he planted his ass down haha!
-
Calvin, Lucas, Mark and Aidan
-Ben-ji emo-ing in a corner
-
momo, "i dont know why, but this somehow reminds me of a lousy novel on sale, which no one wants to buy at all"
Calvin, "ahahaha! so its a novel abt emo-ing in a lrt eh?"
-
the lrt friggin started to leak!
-
and we were there!
but there goes my hair!
-
Travis, "isn't it just weird, to see two guys, wearing a pair of matching t-shirts as well as pants that have the same color?"
momo *compelled to take a pic and blog abt it* HAHA!
-
communion by Burger King fries!
-
that's Kuan Cheen taking a heck of a huge chunk from his burger
-
that's Joel Loi trying to verbally 'shoot' someone
(a sport we're proud of here in Acts Church!)
-
hellish NST's very own David Yeow!
-
there were this many ppl behind us when we got there, all the way to the back!
-
at the front
-
see Elder Darren (the big guy) there? he manage to get a VIP pass for the event and was rubbing it in to us from that spot there, above us
-
*pictures from here on will be kinda blur cause i couldn't figure out the setttings for my darned camera till halfway thru the concert*
-
suddenly, there was a huge cheer and screams went rolling off the wall for and everyone started pushing each other like mad for...
-
photographers -_-
i just don't get how ppl can get REALLY worked up by this
-
Love Me Butch did the 1st opening for the concert. but i've gotta say that them PA people did a heck of a lousy job adjusting the audio systems. their music was good, but because of the lousy job them PA did, they sounded horrible!
-
-
-
was thinking abt how cool would this be if every single hand says, "i want Jesus!"
but heck, everyone was asking for freebies
-
then Altered Frequency (YAY!) came up for the 2nd opening act and they did a GREAT job!
by then the PA system was slightly better which meant, the crowd took them in rather fine compared to 'stoned' faces when Love Me Butch was up
-
Pastor Andy still got time to bend down for a drink one oh
-
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO"
-
the falling off KLCC joke
-
after some banter by the emcees it was FINALLY time for Switchfoot and yeah, as expected, the crowd went wild! *myself included :]* i'd have to say, they made a heck of a great opening of themselves
-
-
-
-
*this is when i finally figured my camera settings. quality isn't quite good tho. using a 4.0 megapixel cam ppl!*
-
Jon Foreman singing "Only Hope" for the 1st time in a concert, according to Calvin Tay
*Mandy Moore didn't write this song! Switchfoot did! she had to pay them to sing this song due to patency!*
-
them posing halfway thru a song for around... 2-3 minutes?
yeah, it was THAT long
-
-
-
-
guitar and lead vocals, Jon Foreman
drums, Chad Butler
-
bass and backing vocals, Tim Foreman
-
guitar, keyboard and backing vocals, Jerome Fontamillas
guitar, Drew Shirley
-
Jon Foreman grabbed a crash cymbal as well as a drumstick from Chad and started whacking the crash like nobody's business
he then did the amazing by holding the crash by one end and started spinning round and round really fast like a spinning top
-
-
-
-
"Dare You to Move", acoustic
-
-
-
-
-
and all good things, no matter how big or small they are, come to an end
everyone say, "awwwwwwwwww"
-
everyone still hyped and talking abt the concert
-
Calvin and Myself
he's leaving this coming Monday!
imma be missin' u a lot, bro!
-
a tired Nick
-
-
-
as i was heading out to check if there were anymore cd's on sale, there suddenly there was a huge crowd that came streaming, no, RUNNING thru the entrance to the back of the hall.
for autographs obviously.
and i was thinking to myself, if this was Jesus' concert, would this happen?
if only they ran this hard and excited for God.
Pity
-

anyways, we go WHEE!

and i'm sure 'someone's real happy that i posted this haha!
